ABOUT ME
After giving birth to my son in 2009, I began my own in-home day care, to enjoy caring for my son and other little ones.  It was such a natural fit.  I assisted at a nearby preschool as well as caring for babies & toddlers.  Working with families and watching children grow is a beautiful and fulfilling process. Also, it was deeply evident to me that both child & parent need to be nurtured, especially through the earliest stages of growth.

WHY I DO WHAT I DO
I became a postpartum doula to bring nurturing nonjudgmental support into people's homes from the very beginning. Both babies and parents need to feel confident, capable and loved during this important transition.  It is such a joy to help empower parents to do the best they can, and to feel good about the process.  Every child is different, and the parenting process brings up seemingly endless questions. I am here to support you. Caring for a newborn is a private, vulnerable time, and it is truly an honor to be invited into people's homes to help.
